Third Thursday Happy Hour at Kingpin: April Edition

The Third Thursday Happy Hour at Kingpin is fast growing each month, with April being no exception. Members converged upon the Uptown bar on April 21 to mix and mingle over drinks. Journalists from several outlets as well as freelancers made up the majority of attendants, but a couple of education and communications members represented their organizations as well, rounding out the group. Guests included Associated Press interactive newsroom technology editor Troy Thibodeaux, who also won the door prize drawing. a $50 gift certificate to La Thai restaurant, courtesy La Thai and Renaissance Publishing.
